Everly Brothers Rock 'N' Roll Odyssey

1984.  U.S. Documentary that follows the Everly Brothers from their debut at the Grand Ole Opry, to their bitter separation in the '70's to their 1983 reunion concert.  Unlike many documentaries, this one has lots of 1950s and early 1960s complete song performances.  This includes rare and unreleased footage from "Shindig", "The Ed Sullivan Show", "The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show" and many others.  Fantastic photos, footage and interviews and rare audio tracks of early '50's radio broadcasts.  Don and Phil discuss their songs and recording studio techniques.  Includes interviews with Chet Atkins, Linda Ronstadt, Brian Setzer, Kenny Jones, Tom Petty and many others.
